Penelo and Vaan aren’t the protagonists, its Ashe. Clearly you weren’t paying any attention at all. The entire story revolves around her. Vaan is just the introductory character.

That’s correct. This version is the final release version they put out in Japan containing Raidou, and Dante is DLC.

He wasn’t in the original release. When Atlus brought SMT3 out of Japan, they used the “director’s cut” which added Dante, and when they released a further updated version of that only in Japan, they replaced Dante with Raidou, who is in the HD remaster now. I’m assuming the DLC gives you a choice as to who you get to…

We already saw Raidou in the reveal trailer, so he’s definitely in. It says DLC, so my guess is the game will have the Raidou version, and then there will be a dlc quest or event where Dante joins or something.
