I have an aunt who is a nun who is nearing seventy. The thought of someone doing this to her makes me violently ill. Perhaps carve or tattoo "rapist" into their foreheads, a la the swastika in "Inglorious Basterds", so everyone knows who these people are when they are inevitably set free?

Rarely do I think someone should get the Lisbeth Salander "I AM A SADISTIC PIG, A PERVERT, AND A RAPIST" treatment, but this is one of those occasions.

In my experience, victim blamers love this type of story, because it lets them set up a false dichotomy between "real" rape and sluts who are making up accusations to ruin a poor man's life. They'll be loudly outraged because it's safe; it involves another country and a holy woman.
