I have the 9spd ZF [9-HP48] in our 2017 Disco Sport. Confirmed shiite. Off topic but also a JLR product the 2L turbo power delivery is shiite. It gets great gas mileage though. Better than my C30 but I’d rather drive that any time because 2.5L I5 with 6M. Unless it’s off road. Then I’d pick the Disco Sport.

I am not sure where you are from but driving in CA it makes little difference if you drive slowly in the more right lanes. You will create more rage and ire the further left you are, of course, but people pass at high speeds on all sides. There is no lane discipline in CA. (It must be Hell for Germans.)
