We do for the vanishing few PS3 titles that never got a PS4 remake. Since Demon Souls got the PS5 treatment, I think the only times our PS3 still gets turned on is to play Tokyo Jungle or for backwards compatibility for PSP/Vita/PS1 games. (Or, now that I think about it, Mirror’s Edge. Did the original ME ever get a

I honestly really like our local Gamestop -- the manager has been there for about 10 years now, and is knowledgable and friendly. But I wouldn’t shop at a *random* Gamestop.

The Free Speech for People guys are occasionally interviewed on a podcast I listen to. This is absolutely intended as a test case for Trump 2024, with a side of getting an opportunity to question them under oath. They feel like they have already won, by establishing that at the very least Georgia would require a

A Sucker Punch crossover is the one thing I did expect.

And that’s not even counting the new Kingdom Hearts game!

I’m not from AK, but I was working in the fishing industry in Seattle in 2008 (so around a *lot* of Alaskans) and the impression I got was that she was not really that well-liked in AK.

I was working remotely pre-pandemic, and the sweet spot seems to be going into the office once a week or once every-other week. There is value to seeing people in person and in being seen, but that’s about it. Every day is just nuts for an office worker.

I used to work for a Japanese company (like 15 years ago), and there was an unspoken rule that if you were sick or appeared to be sick you wore a mask.

Yeah, I’m in my mid-50s and I’d say that my reflexes only started declining in the last 10 years, though there was some *mild* degradation from my 30s to 40s. I have no doubt that at the elite level you’ll see some impact in your late 20s, but nothing most of us would notice.

No mention of Valkyria Chronicles, which was the game everyone said XCom was most like when it first released?

This was the chapter that impressed me, but it did it by having everyone vote against me so that I gave up Prince Roland instead of fighting General Avlora. If you do that, then she’ll fight *with* you in your next fight.

They’re using existing bread so as not to add another ingredient. (It’s the middle bread from one of their existing multistack sandwiches.) BK is working really hard to simplify their menu, to cut costs and help with supply chain issues.

As a transplant from the West Coast, let me assure you: it really is that good. Especially the walleye sandwich.

Yeah, I’ve got my 3 word starters, and in quordle you can run out of time after those, but with octordle that seems unlikely.

I mean, BOOBY was an actual answer one day.

Yes, you have to more than just look at the ownership structure to find a company that is interested in making its money through operations and long-term growth. But my experience is that you *can’t* find those things in a publicly-held company.

Yes, that’s true. Privately-held isn’t enough by itself. Privately-held, with the owners wanting to make their money over the long-term through operations is the key.

And this is why I now only work for privately-help companies, who don’t have to care about stock price.

I mean, *had* more cash on hand, since paying for AB reduces it below Sony’s market cap...but your larger point is well made.

I want more Myth: The Fallen Lords, myself.
