What a shit episode. This show is starting to lose steam in my book.

They may not have been in the sun for two years, but they're still a couple years old. Unless there is still a thriving tobacco trade in the zombie apocalypse, they're gonna be dust.

Those cigars are so old, they should have crumbled to dust when he picked them up.

Thank you. The raining fish almost ruined season 1 for me.

See his prosecution of Vietnam, his probably treasonous attempts to kill peace talks while running for office, his divisive tactics around race, in addition to his overall paranoia. He was definitely a complicated figure, worthy of a Shakespearean tragedy, but all in all pretty awful.

Right, I don't actively pick up on all the homages to Coen brothers' movies. I suppose the helicopter view is kind of an inversion of Tom Reagan's walk in the woods from Miller's Crossing, or is that too much of a stretch?

I only regret that I have but one upvote to give for this comment.

Ever read "To Build a Fire"?

My eyes rolled when she made the Love Canal comment as an obvious attempt to place the era, but within minutes she made another, similar comment with a reference that would have been timely in 1979 (I can't remember what it was), and I understood that they were making fun of that plot device. I got a good chuckle out

Man, I wish I had time to waste watching shows I thought were garbage. And yes, I realize I'm posting on a comment board about a TV show.

Next ep will have to deal with the zombies following the horn and find out if they're able to divert them away from Alexandria or if they'll have to deal with them with guns.

We're what, about two years into the Zombie Apocalypse? Those cigarettes have to be mighty stale.

They're leaving their motivations a mystery. Recall the guy who Morgan tied up saying something like "we're saving you." And how stupid was it that Carol just killed that guy? They could have interrogated him and found out more about the wolves, where they live, etc.

Marshall Bing Bell in Evil Roy Slade.

I remember the show, but not the presidential speech. What a memory!

And watch Cleavon Little when Wilder gives the "You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know… morons." speech. I'm not sure Little knew what was coming.

So good the Simpsons ripped it off.

What sarcasm detector said.

And the street that they needed to drive down was totally clear.

This episode was really hard to watch, mostly because my eyes were rolled so far back in my head. Christ, it was ridiculous.
