Agree the scene goes too far. At the same time, I don't have to decide between Bud and Miller. I don't buy into the extremes of the scene, but overall, a huge win.

I love IPAs, but I couldn't agree more. It reflects industry trends, though. Whenever I go to a bar with, say 30 taps, guaranteed that 16-20 of them will be APAs or IPAs. Why not have more than one saison or porter, for example?

I tend to agree that I'll drink what I like. I also will drink a Lagunitas, Stone, Oskar Blues, etc. However, there are so many small regional breweries that I can always find something I like that is made locally. 75% of my (prodigious) consumption is made in MN or WI by independent brewers.
