Drove the bimmer to work for the first time in a while. A wild jagggg appears.
Trading in the trusty old Avalon for this tommorow. Known as a tsx to you guys. Face-lift model with 57k km, for $12k traded in. Pretty good value I think for a 2011 face-lift
Coilovers finally in. Wanted height adjustability and the stock M-sport shocks had seen better days. Very annoying process as I gave the job to a “bmw race car specialist” shop, who messed it up, charged me double the quoted amount and then I had to do it all again myself. Over the whole thing but the car feels…
So now that I’m living in Bathurst for the
First time I bothered to photograph both my cars together. The bimmer is now a weekend only fun car whilst the avalon valiantly deals with the daily grind. Still can’t believe this car cost me only $1100 with only 90k km. Since then I bought it new tires, and a Sony head unit so I can have Bluetooth. Oh and a fluoro…
This rear end just does not quit. Not classically beautiful but something visceral is stirred up
2 months of waiting. Perfect repair job. So pleased.
My 135i is still in the body shop for another week. Have had this replacement car for the past 3 weeks now. Its a 320d GT F34.
So my 135i is still getting assessed by the panel shop, but I have this as a loaner now for the few months it may take to get fixed. It’s an F20 118i!
The Avalon is now registered and ready to go. The thing is so damn comfy and the aircon is amazing. Very clean except for a small dents on the roof and bonnet. Airbag light keeps flashing after I accidentally drained the battery first day (too used to automatic headlights).
Started a busy new job requiring me drive a lot every day and be on-call for emergencies. Figured the Bimmer may not be the best to tackle that much responsibility. Ended up joke bidding on an Avalon.. and now I’ve won it and they automatically took my payment..
This popped up in my Facebook feed. Probably a but too cheap (half the current going rate) 218k km. 3rd gear synchro sounds like it’s in the way out. Ive been looking for a reliable dd to have as backup for my bimmer. But.... I have wanted one of these since my dc5 days and I don’t think I’m going to lose a lot buying…
Currently the only 2 cars I would consider to replace the 1er, both in the colours I would choose. Boosted manual drivers cars are my vice.
May your new year be less awkward than the proportions of this decade old car.
Only BMW folk will understand the true meaning of no warning messages.
Silver Mazda theme. Finally figured out my foam cannon haha. Was never spraying like on the YouTube, just had to turn the front nozzle!
Had to take some quick photos of the fleet in the evening light. Using Meguir’s D15601 every wash is paying dividends. So. Much. Paint. Depth.
CVT. Hybrid. Toyota Corolla wagon.
Mechanic just replaced the entire oil filter housing assembly in case there was a hairline crack causing those recurrent gasket leaks. Free of charge.
