There are people saying a good credit score is bad?? I’ll be the donkey with the 3% rate thank you.

I think it depends on what your goals are. I use my cast iron grill pan to make beautiful panninis, grill marked veggies and make perfect diamonds on my meats. It does not have the same taste as a charcoal or even propane grill, but I don’t expect it to.

I had a 1976 Audi 100 ls. It was an electronic nightmare and the battery was under the back seat. You had to pull the bench seat out to jump it (which was often) and people thought I was crazy and / or drunk when I said “pull your car up to the back right door.”

Yeah, the key is don’t worry. Your first attempt might not be picture worthy attempt, but it is still delicious. Eat the 5 pounds, then buy another one the next day and keep eating 5 pounds a day until you get it right. Might take a while.

recipe please

Gotta say as a lover of greasy fatty meats, black bean burgers are the best. There’s a certain complexity that the black beans have that I don’t find in regular burgers. Having said that, I will make the vegetarians and vegans scream in pain, but black bean burgers with bacon and bleu cheese are awesome.

My parents were traditional and always used brandy +/or bourbon, but I always used a variety of quality rums with a couple of glugs of Bailey’s depending on the size of the batch. Never buy the stuff out of the carton, it isn’t that difficult to make from scratch no matter what kind of blender you have.

I work in the tax business and most of the problems I see are from drivers in their first year of the biz. Over the course of the year, most of them make a small amount of money but enjoy the flexible hours. The bad part is that most of them do not plan ahead, keep poor records, and put away nothing for the extra tax

It helps if you have similar spending / saving styles. If one party prefers to save and one prefers to spend it as soon as it comes in, I don’t see how this could help matters. Having said that, my wife of 20 years and I have always had separate accounts - I pay all the fixed expenses - mortgage, utilities, insurance,

I usually say, “I don’t want children and don’t really like them. Those who don’t want children have no business having them. There are already too many parents not taking care of the children they have.”

First time abate usually only applies for 1 year, 1 time unless you can prove a multi year issue. Being distraught over death of a loved one won’t cover 5 years of penalties. I also recommend using it wisely - it is a one time deal. I’ve seen people freak out over a $200 penalty and scream “I refuse to pay this, it

Beef or chicken stock is great too. The key is to let the onions brown slowly and do their magic. The deeper the onion color the richer the taste.

Cast iron or carbon steel - everything else is garbage that will lose it’s coating over time. Plus, they are more environmentally friendly.

I worked in a restaurant that had a faux Mexican dish which was a salad with “ranch rice” mixed with a generous helping of Frank’s hot sauce tossed in the dressing. The employees started to differentiate on their own food - ranch or hot ranch dressing. This soon spread to mixing hot sauce with bleu cheese dressing too.

I just made a batch of homemade horseradish and added dry mustard and some leftover wasabi packets - nice and hot.

Any melon works well - watermelon, honeydew. I buy prosciutto ends from my local Italian deli and the fat that drips off of that is almost enough to make me believe in a supreme being.

Excellent article - I can only add - keep track of what you are doing and use year end statements to reconcile what you have done during the year. The IRS only receives the year end statements from the brokerage companies and they rarely accept the answer - “but I didn’t know, this can’t be right.” I’ve seen day

Parchment paper on sheet trays is how we did it in restaurants. We’d bake off 6 -8 full sized trays and pour + save the grease for other things.

From experience - if you can’t set up and pay the 120 day extension, don’t bother with an installment agreement. The IRS continues to charge penalties and interest, can cancel the agreement if you miss payments, and face it - you are still dealing with the IRS. This can make the agreement hard to start up, hard to

No need to mix up a batch of simple syrup - just take a tablespoon of sugar, 2 or 3 ounces of the water from the recipe, nuke, mix until clear and then add the lemons with the rest of the water. Plus - nuke the lemons a few seconds to extract extra juice from them. I usually use a “reamer” for the pulp instead of a
