I learned that I never want to own a new car again and that practicality caused deep depression to set in until the car was paid off. I needed simple, clean design with a soul. I have owned 3 vehicles with the 1.8T and I have had no problems other than routine maintenance and normal wear and tear due to being a 10+ year old car. The 1.8T has a quality that few engines can mimic, it's peppy. It is a fun little engine that loves to boost and rev, there is nothing not to like about it.
