Honestly, it’s hard to make any turbo inline 4 sound good without sacrifices. If you want it to sound good, it has to be well thought out and reserved, as in not loud. If you want it loud, it’s gonna sound like a tractor.

It plays out well for the driver. No longer does the driver need to frustratingly adjust the seat to accommodate back seat passengers. Neither does he / she need to leave the vehicle to instruct the 3rd Party on proper rear seat access instructions.
The 3.8 is better for peak power and rpm. Plus with a true dual exhaust it sounds great. Has a great torque curve when tuned.
Think about it.
There was just never the market for tuning solutions for the gencoupe beyond flashing. The 2.0T has some attention and there are a few crowd funded projects on the go if I am not mistaken. Haven’t really kept up with it. Since I have a 3.8 I’ll always be fubar.
History has proven that Hyundai can make a car put down good numbers, but typically its not comfortable or easy to get there as refinement has not been on par with something like a GTI. I doubt the new Veloster will be as refined as the GTI is, especially interior and comfort wise, but I do expect huge gains by…
True. I could see how electronically controlling the diff to allow it to stay somewhat open upon initial cornering would reduce stress on the front tires, allowing more initial bite on entry. Then it just progressively locks as the corner progresses.
Yup. Gencoupe suffers from poor suspension travel and just bad valving on the shocks. The actual geometry of the multilink rear and macpherson front was fine, just the choice of parts was crap.
More like Canada’s bible belt buckle.
Sharp, crisp, aggressively style all the things!
Meh.
Alexa enabled handgun is an entertaining thought experiment.
Jack O’Banion is exactly the name of someone I would expect to be Vice President of Strategy and Customer Requirements, Advanced Development Programs for Lockheed Martin.
No sir. From that side of the planet though.
Haha “snow”!
I would suggest silicone spray instead. Put it on the seals and the window edges, especially the window edge seal.
Undoubtedly.
Can’t you guys host your programs on the internets like most of the other great automotive video folks? Even if I did have conventional cable or satellite tv, non of my providers are listed as supported by Fusion.
