As a Canadian who drives a jeep on four fairly worn out Mud Terrain t/a’s on the leeward side of Georgian bay during snow squalls that for last days on end, I can tell you that while winter tires are great for these conditions, but nothing helps you get through it better than smart driving and good planning.

So how do I convince the giant corporation I work for that insists that equipping our entire fleet of vehicles from Ford Escapes to three quarter ton trucks with winter tires is a terrible idea? Also consider that management constantly pushes safe driving and worker safety as a priority within the company.

Why would Telsa not incorporate a simple holographic HUD for speed and range? Seems easy enough to do.

They probably had to leave the king there, as moving him to an adjacent spot would likely result in a check, and they couldn’t move him any further because as we all know the king can only move one spot in either direction.

That could pretty much be said about fans of any brand. You could say all Toyota’s are shit, and every Toyota fan would be on here defending their brand. It’s a car site, man.

Even in 2003 most Hyundai’s were reliable. Fit and finish was something else haha! I had a ‘99 Accent with over 200,000km that had quirks, but was nevertheless quite dependable.

Hyundai seems to have some aggressive alignment specs on certain cars from what I remember. You could try experimenting with some minor changes in toe and/or camber, depending on wear patterns.

Hmm, funny. Neither myself, nor my parents managed to do this when they owned a Smart of that vintage.

Now there some confidence! No salesperson is gonna tell Angel what to do!

I think that’s dependant on the salesperson. Sure they’ll sell you a base spec truck, but my point is more to the fact that they would prefer to talk you into buying one with more gadgets.

Maybe it’s just the size and shape of today’s trucks that throw me off. Such high belt lines, giant wheels, hood up to your nipples... they are giant machines these days.

I guess the problem now is they don’t design them for crank windows. They have them as an option in work spec, but they definitely didn’t think about them.

I almost forgot about those little guys. Man, they are terrible, aren’t they?

Yeah I’ve noticed that at my local dealership. Smokin’ deals. I’m surprised they don’t have wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tubemen out there!

I’m just curious here, but does a regular truck exist anymore?

I’d give you all the stars in the night sky if I could, just for that winter car.

Achievement unlocked!!!

Speedo issues are hilarious, and embarrassing if it happens at the beach.

I hope it’s better than the JK’s!!!!

Yes but there are usually at least two analog dials, one for temp and one for fan speed.
