It's kind of incredible to me that he had three cabinet secretaries standing next to him that entire time, half-smiling.

It's happened. Sesame Street to HBO. Now PBS just gets sloppy seconds. Very analogous situation here.
Don't blame Mary, Sue, and Mel for leaving, don't blame Paul for staying.

Try Thomas Keller's recipe for TKOs. It's an oreo-inspired cookie, but way higher end. For me, it set a new standard of deliciousness for the humble sandwich cookie. But they're a pain in the ass to make.
I've preordered Bravetart. I'm actually kind of stoked to make my own oreos without the food coloring, the corn

I'll vouch for Bravetart. Since discovering her blog, I've been baking my way through several of the recipes on her site and on seriouseats, and holy shit, they're excellent.

Yeah. Totally agree.

Yeah, on the Eli Roth issue, I think that he had a new perspective and a unique take on the horror genre, and he and James Wan pretty much created a brand new subgenre.

Sure. Beliefs that date back to the comic ('98), and prior to that as well. But yes, reflection and not cause. Perhaps some self-reinforcement. Not much more than that.

I had an avocado/strawberry popcicle the other day, and it was amazing. The fat from the avocado gave it a creaminess you wouldn't expect.

If you grill the avocado first it's really like a pudding. Worth a try, it's awesome.

Yeah. It pretty much opened with a war crime.

"This sort of bullshit did help establish a world where Donald Trump could be elected president, and it deserves to be remembered for that."

1. Yeah. I get it. It's "ironic." You guys are looser with the definition of ironic than Alanis Morisette. I guess it's your generation's particular brand of disaffectation. And that's fine. It's normal. Still doesn't justify the rise of avocado toast over the last 2 years. It's not ironic if people are sellin', and

Whoda thunk Jeff Lord and Kathy Griffin would have something in common?

Breaking news, senior citizen gets himself in trouble on social media!

And as I was saying before inadvertently posting and then inadvertently deleting, hearing that surprises me considering I hear about avocado toast all the time. Ugh.

Goddammit. Wrong button. I'm getting old and can't see straight. Fortunately, I can still tell there are millennials lurking by the smell of avocados and toast.

If you're somewhere rural or in middle America, its almost certainly the former. Keep an eye out. It'll hit in a year or two. NYC and DC are at peak avocado toast. It'll make its way to you.

Ah. Yeah. I don't care about vegetarians. They can pay obscene prices for avocado toast and think about their life choices when the bill comes. Unless of course, their diet is medically driven, in which case, the vegetarian needs to make better friends who won't drag them to places where they can't eat anything.

I don't know what your post is supposed to mean. I think the two instances of "that" in your post refer to two different things, but it's impossible to say.
