It watched like a cliff notes version of an old who story.
It watched like a cliff notes version of an old who story.
man, those people at CNN are such spineless wimps, it's unbelievable.
At the same time, one would think that people in the media and who appear on news programming would be savvy enough to use an anonymous twitter account if there's something political they have to get off their chests. That's what my friends who are…
It was quite the time to be alive. An era of endless discovery and fearless invention.
And neon colors… lots of neon. huh.
Of course, that gave way to Birks, Docs, and oversized clothes, but man, that neon…
Using a gong to indicate displeasure with amateur entertainers is yet another instance of cultural appropriation of Chinese culture. Why this is okay in this day and age is beyond me. This cultural insensitivity shown towards Asian peoples is unacceptable.
In protest, I will not watch this, and instead, I will watch…
Aw. I guess you missed out on 7-up Gold too.
Oooohhhhh shitttttt. Time to go stock up on Jolly Ranchers!
I dunno about you, I'm going to be busy this summer checking out the girls riding around in Suzuki Samurais listening to Tori Amos and Lisa Loeb while I get reacquainted with Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam.
yeah, well, it's a summer show. Which only requires:
All these winks and nods, ABC programming is starting to come across as epileptic.
Great. Hipster nostalgia for baby boomer-era pop culture curiosities that nobody misses has finally gone mainstream!
Yeah, well, I was down in Tateyama in Chiba Prefecture. Not exactly a place selling a whole lot of craft brews, so there might have been some markup just for lack of competition. But they had a whole craft shelf. I remember some beers like Hitachino Nest, Oedo, Suiyoubi no Neko and Tokyo Black being 400-500 yen a…
Ah. Interesting. That explains a lot and is totally consistent with my couple of nights hanging out with a dozen drunken Dutchmen.
Good lookin' risotto!
Man, it must be almost a decade since I've had ad astra ale. On my most recent trip back home, I had some three rings out of McPherson and a couple out of Wichita.
Tank 7 remains one of my all-time faves. I was hanging with some Dutchmen, and they were saying that Boulevard is now getting sold in Europe, and it's popular. Also, they were quite adamant that the US craft beer scene is heads and shoulders above anything that's going on in Europe in terms of variety and quality.
Just be careful with the hops side of things. You can wind up with some bitterness if you use something less malty and more hoppy.
ah, yes. I'm just going to steal that idea….
Wow. I've always avoided Rogue because I'm not interested in donut flavored beer. Now I have another reason to give them a pass. The assholery evident on that employment copy is dumbfounding.
I was in Japan about a year ago visiting my inlaws, and the craft beer scene has picked up noticably from the days when you could find either Kirin, Sapporo, Asahi, or maybe Yebisu.
The Boulevard Kolsh is great, but I don't dunno why the can advertises it as dry and crisp. It's neither of those things. I mildly prefer the Alaskan Summer Ale (Alaskan amber's seasonal), also kolsh style.
