Bose has something like this called the "Phaseguide", used in their sound bars. Its basically a highly directional soundwave that can bounce off sidewalls/floors/ceiling etc. to fool your ears into thinking you have speakers where you dont. It very convincing but its not the same as having an actual speaker behind you.

DLC is only bad if they kept it out of the original game expressly for the purpose of charging you more money.

Its only overpriced if no one is buying it. Value is relative.

Ive had two consoles, but neither of them RROD. The first one was a launch console and it worked absolutely fine for years. The second was I bought about 2 years after launch so Im not sure but I think it might have slightly different hardware. Looks exactly the same as the original though. Also no issues ever.
