I have been saying this exact same thing. It seems like all or nothing with developers. why cant kinect simply augment your controller? You can still control finer movements with your controller and have all this auxiliary input via kinect.

Agreed about the dwarf. I played 100% of the time controlling the dwarf character. He was the most interesting (way more interesting than my "hawke"character).

I do agree it seems like they spent more energy on the story for DA2.

On the one hand, Im pretty sure "The Witcher" doesn't have the standing to be taking pot shots at The Lord of The Rings. It would be like "10 Things I hate About You" taking shots at Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare).

You know what I love? Games where you dont play as the main protagonist. This sounds pretty cool, I like the idea that a powerful character (Elizabeth) is not under your control. Unless I missed something.

Going to have to disagree with that. Cutscenes break up the immersion. They can be really well done but if you suddenly lose control of your character it can be like someone throwing cold water in your face.
