I feel like kinect is too far ahead of its time. Its an interface without the appropriate games/simulations. It will die painfully unless someone can come up with a convincing game for it. A halo for kinect, as it were.

@Mars: Maybe it depends on your situation/where you work. I know customer service reps (front line phone drones) work for about 12/hr at comcast.

This is really too bad. They should be working together! Id rather Bethesda come out on top here as they are my favorite developer, but Interplay definitely holds a special place.

In my view (and it is a broad view) there are two general types of games and two types of gamers.

The WoW culture is like poison for RPG's. Somehow tag words like "tank", "dps"... just totally takes the epic out of it.
