All the money was privately raised and funded for this specific purpose, so I don’t think this really has that much to do with not paying athletes, which is a real issue, but this is a stretch.

I kept reading about how people wanted to not swatch Arrested Development because of this. I get that, but the show is also Jessica Walter’s work as well, of which she’s likely very proud of. The thing I think I understand her saying is that this is really just a different show that is using only the basics of the original Charmed and the name. Calling it Charmed is disingenuous and misleading.
