Do you know how to disconnect ESP on those?

I got 16" summer wheels and 15" winter wheels on my Clio, and thinks also about downgrading (that’s back to stock ,actually, for my RS1) the summer tyres to 15" : cheaper tires, less tramlining, more comfort, and not that much precision lost.

> the Hummer is absolutely at its worst when it comes to putting in an order at the Burger King drive-through.

According to sources :

[...] it’s estimated weight is just 1,488 pounds [...]

Unless I’m mistaken, it’s Megan Gilkes going for an inside (and quite wet) line before the hairpin, not being able to brake and slamming into Emma Kimiläinen in the first lap. Too bad for them both!

Driving regularly a base diesel 208 at work, I can assure you it’s very much on the sh!tbox side of cars - underpowered and overweight, with a lifeless electric steering, and quite understeery setup. I didn’t drive the GTi, though.

Selling a pimped-up convertible beetle for 1.5M$, that should get you in jail.

Stressful?

What he said, especially for the Zafiras (and the road safety bit - the excess risk due to unrestricted speed is very hard to pick up from statistical noise, and Germans do have tried).

Coconuts. He just needs coconuts.

This Chrysler d’Elegance just looks like it has also inspired Petterson and Frua (freshly out of Ghia) for the Volvo P1800... Or am I wrong?

Holy mackerel! 7500$ is roughly the new price of that stupid dwarfish shoebox nicely conserved Panda, that is, it was its price towards the end of the last millenium.

The reflection has not the same color temperature as the DRL, it’s yellower...

‘Almost’ as in ‘ almost 2 out of 3’ (there lacks at least the fast bit around Schwedenkreuz, Fuchsröhre, miss-hit-miss, Laudalinks, almost all the Kesselchen and Mutkurve to Klostertal, Hedwigshöhe, the Stefan-Bellof-S and Schwalbenchwanz).

I was just thinking along the same lines : having power to the rear wheels too would be a nice addition to my ClioRS1! But for 75k$, I can buy a whole carrier of Miatas (and then some), or a few used boxters as well...

The Alcyone, of late Commandant Cousteau, was propelled by ‘sails that were a bit akin to these (they were called turbovoiles - a nice name, isn’t it?).

When you go square to the wind, the relative wind (the one of your velocity) adds up with the true wind, et voilà! The really good sailors use that effect at the fuller with lighter winds. No physical law harmed during the sailing, btw.

I was going to say that.
