lets not forget the Morris Oxford/ Hindustan Ambassador! damn 50’s British cars must have been good.
Why does everyone always refer to the Paykan in the past tense? The thing is still in production as of 2015, or at least the ute version of it is. It was only the sedan that they stopped making.
The other one is the Singer Vogue, take a Hillman Hunter, add lots of wood trim and some leather.
I see Mk II Ford Cortina
It’s ironic that the cars in these pics are Chryslers (Rootes Division)..also known as a Humber Scepter, Hillman Sunbeam(?) and another one I can’t remember right now (Singer???). Used to be a bunch of these running around in Jamaica when I was a kid and my aunt actually owned a Sceptre (twin Strombergs! ;-)
You beat me. I did not see your post. Great minds think alike and all that shite huh.
Looks like someone in Iran stole an late 60s (same time period, coincidence that is) British Cortina or Hillman. Clearly a very closely copied design. No news here folks. Go home.
My dad had a Hillman Hunter when we were kids. All I can really remember about it was the seats were black PVC and got too hot to sit on in sunny weather.
Slight correction: Coleoptera
