Dennis casually taking credit for the stool was hilarious and a little heartbreaking.

Always Sunny - like Fraiser with glory holes

To bind and- and- and to be bound!

This is one of the show's great secrets of success - they are all hideous people but their serious flaws rarely match up. Luckily they are all so self-involved they brush off the truly terrible stuff so they can go huff glue or whatever.

A bong, a bottle of scotch and a lost job. Throw Battlefield Earth into the mix and you might not experience joy per se, more a rabid mania.

The 'feel' of the film is quite gross, I enjoy it and there's still something greasy and uncomfortable about it - oddly like a John Waters movie. That gut reaction is the reason for all the venom towards it IMO.

A good comparison - I really like Mars Attacks but the tone/colour palette/camp makes me think of a PVC miniskirt covered in chicken grease.

Holy shit I forgot I saw this crime in the cinema.

As a kid I watched Men in Tights and Dracula Dead n' Loving It over and over again and thought Brooks was a genuis. Then around age 13 I saw Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, History of the World and Producers in a single weekend.

I made a bet based on the trailer that at the funeral Neeson would either be off in the distance by a treeline or would arrive after everyone else and mumbledsomething stupid that was deep because *MEN*. Instead he talked to his daughter by webcam while his mate clicked a clickity clacker.

Doug Stanhope made a very congent point about gag sex gifts, "if you leave a dildo in my house, eventually I am going to use that dildo". If you don't chuck it away in disgust, you are going to use it, all it takes is time.

Ve're Jews out in space!
Ve're zooming along protecting the Hebrew race!

I consider the British bobby "Ello, ello, ello" stereotype offensive and wrong. Our officers are just as militarised and violent as anyone elses. We just don't brag about it.

I love Smithers' gentle laugh as Burns is doing this.

I hate that flashback - the joke makes absolutely no sense. Now if Abe had been in Berlin when JFK made the speech or something it could work but its a detached reference for no reason. A sign of things to come.

How else do you expect us to exchange long protein strings?

Radioactive Man Film Producer, to the Editor: "You're fired!"
Editor: "And with good cause."

I love how Charlie's own hallucination of Boggs corrects him on not being dead.

There is also the first 'real' episode were Bernard and Manny drink the ultra rare wine and try to recreate it using the suggestions of a pretentious counisseurs guide - "vanilla notes" are replaced with ice cream and "hints of oak" by shoving a branch in the bottle. Excellent stuff.

Weird to see my country singled out but I guess it is an odd obsession. There are kebab shops covered in Simpsons art called things like 'Vino's' - having Bart in your window is not special enough to bare mention in an English fast food shop.
