*sighs, buys Undertale again*

Danny O’Dwyer is off to a fantastic start with his Patreon-funded Noclip documentaries.

I thought it was alright. Even though it wasn’t anticlimactic on paper it wound up kind of feeling that way, something I felt pretty often throughout the season. (I can never decide if it’s intentional or if it’s budget/runtime constraints.)

I was worried about the “sprites on 3D background” style at first, but man did it wind up looking f’ing good.

Oh god, throwing away the picture over and over just freaking killed me lol

I like the tension of single shots and looking around frantically as you reload, but I wish the mode weren’t elimination. If it was just a simple “first team to X kills” situation with a fast respawn I think it’d be a lot more fun. Counter-Strike style stress doesn’t seem to fit well with the “fun holiday event” vibe.

Decisions were made.

You know, FFXV wound up having pretty good timing for me. I could really, really go for a road trip game right now.

(I’m still salty at how much better the Japanese box art is.)

It’d be amazing if they added some stars to King’s Row as a nod to this.

It was such a bittersweet feeling when the final documentary episode came out, following along with the team for a couple years was really a special thing.

Sucks, but it’s awesome to have dual audio confirmed.

Had a ton of fun with 3v3 in the PTR, can’t wait to jump in for real.

I still think the intro was kinda cool, at least. (Even if it went 120% off the rails immediately afterwards.)

Gotta hand it to Nintendo for always being their for their diehard audience of scalpers.
