I'm not writing off the last decade, but I do think it's a pretty steady decline. Smile and TYMT are great but a step down from the late 90s. Penalty Life is where it really starts to go downhill, that's when some real stinker songs started to sneak in for me. Good

FLCL is definitely the best dub I've heard. The voice acting is great across the board, and more importantly the translation is frigging excellent.

The series really acts as an awesome greatest hits collection for the pillows, their late 90s period was far and away their best.

Wish we could have heard "Down to Earth" from Wall-E
I get why Peter Gabriel didn't want to perform it when it was being cut down to such an abbreviated version, and I guess hearing part of it sung by whatshisname was better than nothing, but I woud have REALLY loved to see an actual, full performance.
