Definitely underrated but the mastering is off on it, or is that just me? Would love a re-release.

Yeah, every song feels like its riffing on another band/era but in a fairly inconsistent way, like its their own remix playlist.

They always put on a great show, really fun band to see live.

This feels like a jam band sorta thing, like they are fucking around and having fun. This album feels like it would be a TON of fun to see live and seems like that's how it was meant to be heard. Seems like a minor output, but that's OK.

Might be a case of the fact that we had access to all the songs before those for weeks so of course, these ones are new to us and so we aren't as in to them. But maybe there is a reason they weren't released ahead of time. Infinite Content in particular feels extremely pointless.

But still, imagine being the guy who wrote this.

Damn. I mean, this article sucks but wow.

Imagine being the guy who wrote this.
To add: if this doesn't telegraph 'kids who will resent and hate their parents in 20 years' I don't know what does.

Sounds like the response of someone you're criticizing here.

Sort of like what I do with THE SHINING??

Pretty much goes for basically any AVC post these days. The shitposting used to be contained to Newswire but even like Palme Thursdays is full of meme-nerds who haven't heard of the films and have no interest to.

Yeah, I love how he sort of gives them some privacy while they are making out by cartoonishly bobbing his head around and then swinging back the second they're done. Perfect timing.

I agree with the reviewer, this one felt the most at victim of the structure. A lot of drawn out moments that felt more like padding than deliberate decisions. Another "will Coop wake up?" fakeout. Reiterating what we already know. It's moving the plot but without a lot of the flair and terror that other episodes have

He played an excellent Spider-Man: lean, snarky. But his Peter Parker was way off. Too cool, too confident. Although his casting was wrong there, it seemed to be a studio decision to have him portrayed that way, rather than a strictly performance thing.

except Spiderman 2 isnt in the MCU

How could you do ANYTHING, let alone WATCH anything, when at any moment—right now, in fact!—someone, somewhere, just tweeted something that someone, somewhere might find inappropriate?!?! It would just be irresponsible.

Someone else mentioned that his character is a parody of a Korean media personality (not a specific person, but of a type of personality) so I think it's just so foreign to us, but to another audience it would make perfect sense. I guess the casting of a Hollywood star makes it odd.

I mentioned above but a lot of people are focusing on the wrong thing. The movie is mocking modern PR stunts and faux-eco-friendly companies. The pigs are huge because it can be marketed to make the public adore them, rather be disgusted by manufactured meat.

Because it is a PR stunt. People are missing the point of the movie, it is not meant as a GMO takedown or factory farming critique necessarily - it sprays so wildly with its satire that those targets get folded in, but really it's a critique of modern PR and marketing and the shit-eating grin CEOs that love getting on
