Pikmin 3 was pretty interesting in how you basically used only one hand for buttons and the other holding a pen. Never played a game that way before. I didn't LOVE it since I never had a problem with the way Pikmin 2 controlled but it was kind of neat.

Polygon do excellent long-form pieces. Pretty much the only game site I can think of that does well-written, well-researched long forms. Their opinion articles are usually pretty trashy and sort of sour me to them in general but these pieces both read and LOOK amazing.
