To this day I haven't worked at a company that didn't give me a cellphone…

Pikmin 3 was pretty interesting in how you basically used only one hand for buttons and the other holding a pen. Never played a game that way before. I didn't LOVE it since I never had a problem with the way Pikmin 2 controlled but it was kind of neat.

There's a lot of areas the Academy needs to recognize. This isn't related by colour correction/grading/timing really really need to be acknowledged, especially in the digital era. Mad Max?

FAKE NEWS

It had all the ponderously self-serious, smugness of recent NWR but it at least had more of a winking self-awareness of itself. I also found it incredibly irritating but it wasn't as clueless as Only God Forgives. Baby steps.

And misogynist. I don't get why people are acting surprised about this, or that he would be above any of it?

Is that true? Or did you just make that up?

Except they do end skits with Leslie being aggressive/horny as a joke, so if they had done that it would have been fine stand-alone but would have played even better if you watched the whole episode.

REAL NEWS!!!

Sounds incredible! Although not on the same level, when I saw a preview screening of Paranormal Activity that was the only time I've ever seen a horror movie where the ENTIRE audience is completely, fully engaged and willing to let themselves over to the movie and be terrified together. There was a real energy in the

A friend of mine pointed out the absurdity of how a decade ago the protagonist of this show would have been the villain. Oh the times we live in!

I always thought it was weird that Americans (particularly) liked to point it out when I would hear "eh" in American TV all the time. Homer would be thinking up a scheme and say something like "grease, eh?" and then go and try and sell all the grease - I dunno if it actually happens that episode but you know. Point

Yeah, not a Toronto thing but when you get out to the sticks…

Do they do long forms?!

That's the problem with video games. Most groundbreaking games don't age well because the mechanics were so new and exciting but rusty when compared to all of the leaps and bounds made upon them by imitators. If you weren't there, you can never be. It's almost always a huge letdown to go back and play a classic for

You mean like the sketchy line artwork that looks like its done with pencil? That would be pretty hard to animate, not to mention render in 3D. I don't think even many movies attempt that style because of its complexity.

Polygon do excellent long-form pieces. Pretty much the only game site I can think of that does well-written, well-researched long forms. Their opinion articles are usually pretty trashy and sort of sour me to them in general but these pieces both read and LOOK amazing.

Doesn't matter. All done by Lynch. That means no matter how much it sucks at least it will be interesting.

Half the time he looks like he doesn't give a shit when he's IN the show.

Nah, fuck it. We're 10 seasons in. Let him WRITE EVERYTHING. Let's see what happens. Let's see where it doesn't go. Fuck it all. Anarchy for Mulder and Scully.
