The idiots should have learned back in 2016 that when they ask “what are you gonna do, vote republican?”, the answer is that democratic voters just don’t show up.

Why wouldn’t they? In the end they can take our votes for granted because “Republicans suck more”. Someone should’ve warned the Democratic base that unconditional support is a bad idea.
