That one teaser from way back when looks worse every year. I don’t mean the graphics, I mean the tone—I would hope as a society that we’ve moved past the reflexive belief that grittier, more vulgar, this-ain’t-your-parents-Beyond-Good-And-Evil is an intrinsically worthy endeavour. WE’VE GOT A MONKEY THAT SAYS ‘MOTHERFU

3D CGI or art style doesn’t bother me, but I’ll continue recommending the original despite the reboot because the original has a couple of things that turned me into a huge anime fan at the ripe age of 19 that this new retelling doesn’t seem to have.

Or why George Clooney’s Doug Ross never showed up on Grey’s Anatomy.

I’m glad you updated. Chun Li is from Tekken 3 for those wondering.

The explanation for that is simple: Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu were no longer as closely involved with the franchise after IX.

Loved this game from the opening, playing as a thief instead of a typical hero and the twist that princess wanted to be kidnapped! The game was a nice throwback to the classics and had enough twists to keep it fresh.

God, I fucking hate it when articles try to push videos. If I wanted to be a slave to video, I’d be on YouTube instead of here.

If you’re going to post a video, at least have the decency to offer captions. WCAG guidelines mean nothing here nowadays, I guess.

Yeah, kinda just gonna echo the rest of the comments here and say this really could/should have had a written article summarizing the points made in the video (or just been an article altogether). If you have a way to compare the clicks on the article to views on the video itself, I bet you'll see a discrepancy there.

Agree with the others. Please don't start exclusively doing videos.  We all enjoy reading over here

Oh I thought this was an article.

Why is this a video rather than an article? I would read an article. I am not going to watch a 15 minute video.

Thanks for the video that I’m not going to watch for something that could just as easily be text I could read at my own pace.

Eh, I think that one has more to do with the larger linguistic issue of how “black” can separately mean (1) an ethnic group and (2) evil.

As someone who reads manga, I hate it when mangaka do this.

Stranger Things is about 80s nostalgia which took place during the Cold War. The Russian angle of this season is right on theme with this show.

This article and these criticisms are to me off base as well. He is trying to be a parent to a 14 year old girl with superpowers. No parent wants their 14 year old daughter making out with her boyfriend every day all day. Yeah, he was tough, but that is realistic and totally in character for him as he is a new parent.

I absolutely love what they did with Steve and Robin. Also she lies about him being a chick magnet to get him the job at the video store in the final episode, when her research in the first episode (tracking all the female customers at the ice cream shop he struck out with) empirically proved that he was in fact a

Because the training, especially back then, is to shoot the center mass. Lots of organs and stuff to hit. The head is wrapped in bone which slows down and can even deflect smaller caliber bullets.

The Terminator would never stop, it would never leave him... it would always be there. And it would never hurt him, never shout at him or get drunk and hit him, or say it couldn't spend time with him because it was too busy. And it would die to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years,
