This album is top class. I actually don't like the beginning and end, it's true beauty is in the middle, with songs such as Other Towns and Cities, This Maudlin Career and Forest and Sands. As for them being inconsistent, Camera Obscura improve with every album. They are outstanding.

Once went to see Beck in Dublin Castle, just because The Seahorses were supporting. Arrived late cos my brother wouldn't leave the pub (as usual) and missed the entire set.
