Another excellent game [for laptops] with a compelling storyline, philosophy that makes you think, and pretty challenging puzzles is The Talos Principle. My laptop has an Intel HD 3000, 8gb of RAM, and an i5 processor, and the game runs extremely smoothly at a pretty high frame rate.
