I agree that the mobile port was heinous, but re-colorizing the spritework and transforming Terra back into an Amano fever dream named Tina (yes, I know, JP version...) doesn’t make this better.

I think a more apt comparison is that the blades are like Pokemon, but are incredibly developed, and without spoiling anything, there is much more to the blades than “subservient sentient sword person that lends you their power” that ties into the plot. On paper it seems weird, but it really works well in this game.
Though I totally love the theory, I’m pretty sure The Good Place is single camera too. Just, shot with a tripod rather than documentary-style. Think 30 Rock vs. The Office.
There’s certainly POTENTIAL for Amazon to be green, sure - but today they sent me a four pack of pens in an 8" x 11" x 3" box. So, they’re not quite there.
“...the tiniest bit of heat causes wildfires”
That’s not what causes wildfires. Grass and trees just don’t combust because it’s 90 degrees. The lack of rain from March - December, coupled with aged, malfunctioning infrastructure in places that probably shouldn’t be developed as heavily as they are is what causes…
Well, you just may have kept Tora on my team with that piece of advice. Thanks!
(Just kidding, Morag is not going anywhere...)
It’s all smoke and mirrors. The only occupant in those buildings is CoS - otherwise they are largely empty. They are just there to make the church look like a bigger deal than it is; they definitely aren’t generating any income.
Well, the Celebrity Centre might. I hear they actually have a great brunch.
There are plenty of timed sections to get that sense of urgency. If you need it throughout the game, perhaps this isn’t the one for you...
Definitely watch through again. There is foreshadowing, but it’s super subtle. For example, she shrinks ever so slightly as the season goes on.
Me: “Oh hey, Lorde is covering one of my favorite songs! I should check it out!”
Kinja/Jezebel: “HI WHILE YOUR SONG PLAYS WE ARE GOING TO AUTOPLAY AN AD ABOUT HORMONE-FREE CHICKEN!! THERE IS NO WAY TO MUTE OR STOP THE AD, AND WE HAVE CONVENIENTLY SKIPPED DOWN TO THE AD SO YOU CAN FULLY ENJOY IT WHILE LORDE SINGS PHIL…
Yeah, so just like Olive Garden, Columbus Day (and Columbus) isn’t really a thing to actual Italians. As a first generation Italian American whose parents immigrated to the US, Joe Buscaino should know this.
The Spaniards, on the other hand? Let’s just say they have a hard time letting go.
Nah, he’s not trying to say anything. Check his comment history. He’s a dumbass troll.
My HS history teacher was great in this regard - he actually started with WWI and went through the Cold War, before going back and doing different segments that directly tied into the modern era. He coupled this with a weekly current events game too, which I think helped everyone realize WHY history is important.
And also, aired on ABC and not CBS.
I completely agree with you for the last few years (ugh, the Gaga Dorito tent situation still gives me nightmares; HOWEVER, I have to say that this year was really a nice surprise. They somehow, magically, did a fantastic job of toning it down and bringing it back towards what it was supposed to be by greatly…
These are my favorite kind of festivals (and generally the only ones I can go for). SxSW has gotten HUGE, but you can still go where you want, when you want, and I appreciate the ability to do that. It’s awesome to see big artists, but part of my job is finding up and coming acts and club crawl festivals are MUCH…
Looking at TV ratings across the board, KUWTK still comes in higher than most cable shows, most weeks.
“Except 90% of the ROMs out there are no longer protected by copyright laws”
Please, enlighten me on the games that were released before 1927 that fall into the public domain?
You give some pretty awful legal advice here. I’d consider not doing that.
Though I admire the viciousness in your comment, I think you mean Rick Brattin. Kevin Engler introduced the amendment to make it illegal to discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation and gender identity.
No. A Zogby poll of 876 likely voters. 96 of them are Hispanic. :-|
