I get his point. I don't agree with it, but I understand where he's coming from. I think he's just not a native English speaker, and the way his use of the language comes across makes him sounds like a troll.
I think I'm OK with the new sprites...but what the hell is this? For a second, I thought they had botched the airship sprite until I realized that this is a mini-model of Figaro. Something about this feels very off.
I can only remember having SpaghettiOs once as a kid and I BEGGED my mom to never buy them again. Shit is vile.
THIS! I was flying from Italy back to upstate NY through Philly one year with a couple nice bottles of wine in tow. The wine made it ACROSS the Atlantic with no problem, and the customs guy let me keep it even though I was a couple days away from my 21st.
Care to take a guess where things went south and my clothes…
Yes, because Gizmodo is one person who has the same opinion on everything, all the time. -5 points for not knowing how to properly use "butthurt".
Maaan, your AAFES had Final Fantasy games?! Ours in Italy was nothing but six month old mouthbreather sportsbro titles. We had to order from FunCo :-/
Actually, they did that in Survivor: Guatemala. 11 mile overnight hike, and they had to carry any supplies they wanted to keep. They haven't done it since, probably since it damn near killed everybody.
I am really hopeful that once Rob and Rashida leave P&R, Donna will be bumped up to more of a full-timer. I feel like the episode where April tried to figure out what kind of dog Donna is (spoiler: she's a cat, not a dog) hinted at more of a future presence for her on the show.
Seriously! I'm still crossing my fingers that they'll reconsider and let Matrix give FFVI the treatment.
Really sorry for the confusion here - to be clear, I was being dismissive of FrankN, and fully agree with all of your points.
I assume you've seen "This Film Is Not Yet Rated"? It's a great look into the crazy secrecy of the MPAA; I highly recommend it.
"European here, in this thread to let everyone know that in Europe, we are more mature that you Americans"
...is what I read. Meh.
I'm pretty sure that, as our astronauts take a Russian ship up to space, and the Olympics are taking place in Russia, that it would be Russia footing whatever nominal amount of money this cost.
Keep in mind that Dillinger is one of four writers on both songs, and probably only owns 25% of each song. So assuming that is the case, the the full quote for each song would be $8.5k/side, or $17,000 total - which is pretty par for the course for most TV/Film/Video Game uses.
Try again dude; he meant publisher. The label (if an artist has one) owns the rights to the master recordings; the publisher owns the songs. Producers frequently tie themselves to labels too, especially if they are signed artists. They sign publishing deals as writers and do more than just mixing and mastering. And…
Yep - I think that's what ultimately sold it for me. It's one thing to pay homage to a city, but to so accurately depict a shithole two hours away? That's dedication!
Yes! Soda water with bitters and a lime/lemon/cherry/orange is rather refreshing. The bitters keep you from drinking it too quickly and having to pee every five seconds.
And what beer utopia do you hail from? Unless it's Belguim, I'm pretty sure my selection in the US is much, much greater than yours. Unless you REALLY get a hard-on for lagers (which, oh yeah, is generally light piss water beer), and then I can't really help you.
Yeah...I mean, I think it would make more sense if it were dark blue, but Silicon Valley is actually the light blue part north of the brownish patch.
Don't know if I'm rent controlled, but I got very lucky when I found the spot. Although there are definitely deals; you just have to call around and not necessarily rely on CL or Westside Rentals. I had some friends who were paying $1300/mo for a 2br/1ba near Sunset/Gower, and another friend who got a renovated…
