I think the opposite. Dak has confidence. You start Tony when he’s ready, in the playoffs he’s preferable because of experience, if he gets hurt Dak slides right in. If Dak hits a wall or gets injured late in the season or playoffs, Tony comes in as as a very good, completely rusty QB.
