Oh wait, She bankrupted Burlington College, not Burlington Coat Factory. My mistake.

He has to shop at Kohl’s instead of Burlington Coat Factory. You see, his wife’s ego and incompetence bankrupted that company.
It just means that while you can hide houses in your wife’s name, it’s not so easy to do it with clothing.
She doesn’t have the charismatic style that grabs hold of you from the get go, that’s for sure. And I get why people expect that, it’s exciting.
Tell them Billy is Faulkneresque. That’s how I defend myself after I send rambling drunken texts at two in the morning.
Bernie, to his credit, has attracted a LOT of people who are relatively new to the political process, particularly younger people. Again this is great. But a side effect is that newcomers often are zealously narrow minded in that THEIR candidate and THEIR solutions are the only legitimate ones and thus everyone else…
Clueless incompetence wins out over true evil in my book any day. Umm, go Paul!
We’re not talking about Kevin Hart buying and driving it. We’re talking about the fact that he let someone else, who may not be experienced or knowledgeable to operate it, drive it in less than ideal conditions.
I don’t get it either. Not that I’m a Klobucher fan at all, but the reality is right now she’s tied for first in the only standings that matter, delegates won.
She’s a SHE!
The Quiet Radical.
My feeling is Biden’s support is a mile wide but an inch deep. He’s the placeholder based on name recognition who is “legitimate” in many voter’s eyes, particularly voters who are less tuned in this early. Which is still probably a majority. Many of them are resistant to Sanders, but if another candidate or two emerge…
The point is, this is no ordinary car. It’s one that certainly has different characteristics than a regular car, which makes it more difficult and dangerous to operate. An owner is aware of this and likely has experience with it. As an owner it’s his responsibility to make sure only those capable should drive it.
I firmly believe there is collusion, without question. I also firmly believe that even if there wasn’t Kimbrel would’ve been frozen out until he backed down from the years he was looking for. Including this year, 4 of his past 5 seasons have been meh at best.
Letting someone inexperienced drive a car that is suped-up and with sub-standard safety equipment is in fact an incredibly irresponsible thing to do.
Criminally negligent has nothing to do with a civil lawsuit. Two totally different things. Criminal negligence means he is charged with a crime, which is not the same as being liable.
Busted. The conspiracies against Bernie, they’re everywhere!
Ha! Please explain further. I’ll enjoy this train of logic.
I think the temperament of the candidate matters a lot in both the conduct of his followers to a large extent and more importantly his or her ability to govern. Let’s be clear, even if Bernie or Warren get elected, we will be nowhere near enacting the policies they both favor. It will be a long and brutal process,…
That’s good that you don’t, and I’m not attacking anybody for supporting Sanders. But at no point did I say “all” Sanders supporters, or even most. But can you honestly say there isn’t a significant subset of Sanders supporters who are just downright toxic?
