Cool. Reminds me of 2015 when people who thought they were clever and witty bought those red hats of a candidate who was also regarded as a joke who’d never win.

Oh there you go again, saying context actually matters and all that. Only one thing matters around here my friend, self righteousness.

One major difference: he’s not a woman Clinton.

Gosh, makes you wish there was anyone to the right we could go after, instead of a popular, honorable, former President from our own party. Trying to think of a name, but can’t. Darn it, Obama it is then.

Castro’s proposal to decriminalize crossings is good and fair, but ONLY as part of a larger more comprehensive immigration reform package.

I’d be fine with candidates criticizing Obama’s immigration policies if even one of them comes up with a coherent alternative of their own. The lack of one, and this insane far left push to de facto open borders is what will kill us next November.

GM’s love acquiring and hoarding assets because it shields them from accountability for years and defers them from having to do the really tricky part, making a good team championship level. James took him all the way to that last step and he’s unhappy? Pure fucking ego on Griffin’s part, he just wants the bullshit

Monorail is cheap, fast, and easy. It’s just they built it in an idiotic place due to politics. But hey, that one time every fifth trip I go to Westgate it’s awesome!

Fair enough. 79 is still a bet I’m not thrilled to make. In terms of it’s toll, POTUS is a far worse job than SCOTUS.

Agree on all counts. Just think overall they did a poor job of it and need to re-calibrate next time. The framing of the questions didn’t help at all.

Corporate sponsorships and TV money makes the IOC’s world go round and nobody pays as much as the US, not even close. So they’ll hammer say Russia for doping yet ignore Nike/Salazar’s obviously more sophisticated doping program. And they’ll pretend the endless rapes covered up over decades never happened.

RBG is at the end of her term, not the start. And the truth is, with her health issues, it’s severely impacted her ability to do her job. (That said, dear god she’d better hold on 2 more years!)

I did find it odd how many of the candidates seemed to be running against Obama as much as Trump. Part of it is the dynamic of a packed stage and Obama’s VP is the frontrunner, but still. Dems need to work on that next go round.

They all did for quite a while whether they admit it or not.

Nah. She did not handle being challenged well at all. She shrunk. I hope she does well next time, I really do, but she had a poor night yesterday.

Thailand getting shellacked will do far far more good to build their program than if they never made it at all. Used to be the same in the men’s game. Simply qualifying is simply HUGE for teams. So I’m all for it.

And the idea of him serving a 2nd term seems impossible. Why would we willingly elect a one term President?

That’s all I meant. Age in general isn’t a disqualifier, but in Biden’s case it clearly is. I must say though, Warren’s age gives me pause. I want to elect an 8 year President. Warren would be 79 in year 8.

Part of me agrees with you. Going in I strongly did even. The job, to do it right is just brutally difficult, mentally and physically, and I didn’t want a 70 year old doing it. But dammit, I just haven’t seen anyone better than Warren when it comes to simply being ready to govern from day 1. Not even close.
