Exactly, there is no way they’re producing only electric 500s. It just doesn’t fit the criteria for the type of “city” vehicle! You live in the city, need a tiny car that can easily park anywhere, don’t have a garage... where the hell are you gonna charge it? 

Unless you’re wearing a SNELL or DOT certified helmet (for motorcycles / cars) bicycle helmets won’t do anything.

Very difficult argument considering that EVs work in american suburbs due to having garages, if you live in an European city and have the luck to have a garage, your other family members park on the street. And have you seen how they park on the street?

I still believe they made a big mistake with this design but I just saw it in person and looks better than in pics. The rear is still questionable. Overall it looked better in person.

Saying that the next 500 will be exclusively electric is asinine. Europe’s infrastructure is not ready for 100% electric vehicles and being the 500 an entry lever car people wouldn’t know where to charge it.
