Honestly looking back at this series, I’m actually pretty happy with the amount of Coop we ended up with.

I don’t think it would take him 4.5 years to co-write and direct another season. For this one, they had to figure out how to get back into it. Now it’s fresh in their minds. That being said, he might simply want to do non-Twin Peaks stuff for a while.

I would love more Twin Peaks, if only for it to having nothing to do with anything we see in Part 18 and then end in another cliffhanger. Maybe people will finally get it if he does it a fourth time.
