I enjoyed the Betty stuff quite a bit (although I don't think I would have gotten much out of her and Justin Theroux as his story felt very very typical of stuff that was already in so many shows by that time), but I think going from TV to movie meant that they shifted the narrative far more to her relationship with

You may be right, but I don't think Lynch cares whether people see him as racist. I think he just maybe likes certain actors and wanted them to be on the show. Not that this takes away from the show being too white - I agree it is. I actually like Jade quite a bit and I feel a little sad when people just remember her

It will be odd seeing her on here after I mostly remember her role on Walking Dead. I guess Carol won't be arriving to burn down the Black Lodge.

Even the best struggle to make heavy and lengthy expository dialogue scenes work. You probably have to have a long history on soaps to sell it. I think his best asset has always been his presence, but I think he's done fine with his increased role this season.

At first I thought it was the doppelganger trying to encourage Cooper to violence and corrupt him. It was hard to tell though.

At first I thought he was being a pervert but then I thought he was trying to teach her something important.

Not that it makes it much better, but there was also Ernie Hudson.

That was a beautifully done scene, and Kyle gave a wonderful performance. He's giving the performance of his career on this show.

I think that it can run too long (if not for the assassin scene at the end of the scenes in this one I would have felt the scenes were pointless), but for the most part I like the Dougie arc. I think it's very important to see Cooper slowly regaining himself and I think it's important to reinforce the vulnerability

I wonder if Jack Nance no longer being with us made Lynch not want to bring back any of that group. Well that and the story being such a mess in season 2.

I forgot to mention a few other scenes I loved:

Mulholland Drive is one of those (very good) films where I just ended up seeing fragments of characters - I felt like Diane was one side of her and Betty was another side, and the reality might have been something of a mix.

Comforting is the right word for it. I noticed that during the conversation they sort of rambled a bit - that was the only indication I would have had that he had Alzheimer's as Lynch and Forster may have gone off script a bit for that moment. I was so happy to see him one last time as he was such an underrated and

It's tough to say because I do feel like Audrey is being given a bit more buildup than the other returns but I guess we'll see. If she is just in three minutes of one episode then it will be a waste. I have mixed feelings about all the Audrey hype because I think a lot of it is based on things that were heavily

I didn't know that. That would have been a very different atmosphere, especially as Ontkean had such a warm chemistry with Kyle and also had scorching chemistry with Joan Chen. It would be odd to imagine Frank with either of them.

I took it as meaning that she didn't want to think about that night and didn't want to take time to think about differentiating. Only when they asked her and asked her did she see him, and when she saw him, she knew it wasn't the Cooper who had been her friend.

To be honest I'm expecting Janey and Sonny Jim to leave one way or another (killed, or maybe he isn't real and she leaves, heartbroken, with Dale giving her all of the casino money as a way to start), but I wouldn't say no to them staying together. I was always a bit lukewarm on Cooper/Audrey and if his double raped

Per the TP history book she woke up from her coma, I think.

Thanks. I couldn't understand what he said.

I kept wondering if he was going to be killed. Any time we see a new character for more than a minute I wonder that…
