Don't be sad. The truth is that there were fewer entertainment choices available to people…and less information about what choices there were.
COULDN'T stop!
In the pursuit of offering access to nearly everything in pop cultural history, we've lost the idea of a dominant popular culture. Although there were lots of entwining storylines and red herrings to sift through, I never rolled my eyes at first season Broadchurch. The melodrama and convolutions somehow seemed organic…and the characters stayed true to themselves.
Still a comedy.
So, you're saying "Girls" then?
I guess that doesn't bode well for Anne Hathaway and her portable laboratory of fertilized eggs if Matthew McConaughey can't track her down.
That's a hell of a kick, GoochExtension. Definitely wake up from a dream when THAT happens—no matter whether the top stops spinning or not.
