I agree with you that "New Clear Days" is a near-on perfect album (with my pick for single being "News at Ten"…but track by track, the album is brilliant) but I think you're giving "Magnets" a bit of a short shrift.

My critical comments on the first couple of episodes of this new season are the same as many others here… The voices seem to blend together, there's that "Audio Uncanny Valley" where they start the riff before the thing they're reacting to has actually happened on screen, sometimes the riffs are a bit too rapid…
