The hell with that accent? Sounds like a Californian trying and failing to speak like a New Englander.

Yeah, you see him at MSG and you're like "holy crap, I know every word to every song and I'm loving it!"
Having kids who are 4 and 7, I identified with Homer's rant about birthday parties so very very much that I'd like to subscribe to his newsletter.
Stupid sexy Flanders.
They only have a finite number of spots, and there is seriously no reason for them to use one up on a show that'll be gone in a month when they have so many other shows that need supporting.
My mom is from Puerto Rico, and even though my parents have been married for nearly 50 years, my dad still doesn't speak a word of Spanish. It seems perfectly right to me that Jay doesn't, either.
Except Freaks & Geeks - I loved that their Halloween episode featured kids in crappy costumes that actual kids would actually have in the actual 1980s. Every other TV show ever has their characters look like they raided the Warner Brothers props & costumes department.
Indeed it is. Sometimes Modern Family can be a bit fanciful, but any parent can tell you the smiling thing is spot on!
Well, that *sounds* reasonable, but kids that age really have no concept of "smile like you always do". Trust me, trying to talk to them about it only makes them less relaxed and smile worse. The only solution is to take about 250 pictures and hope that your kids aren't grinning like idiots in at least one of them.
What, no love for the Cable ACE Awards?
Awesome, I hadn't even seen that before making my suggestion. MacFarlane's smooth, suave "Sue Me" is an interesting contrast to Lane's comic, manic version: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
He's kind of a likeable douche. Just like Nathan Detroit, actually. (I think they cut Adelaide's song "You're Such A Douche, Nathan" out of the movie…)
Never seen the movie, just the Broadway production twice, so my point of reference for Nathan Detroit is Nathan Lane (and to a lesser extent, Oliver Platt). Who might very well be available. Be that as it may, Seth can definitely sing, can do comedy, and has stage presence. Not for nothing did the Oscars pick him to…
In Fiddler On The Roof! Color blind!
Cabaret starring Adam Lambert.
Woo! Now do I lose or gain genius points by suggesting Seth MacFarlane and Kristen Chenoweth as Nathan and Adelaide?
Guys and Dolls with Justin Timberlake as Sky Masterson and… oh what the heck, Carrie Underwood as Sarah Brown. The Wikipedia synopsis describes Sarah as "pious and beautiful", so there you go. Alternatively, Anna Kendrick.
