That was the pilot!

A Cloak and Dagger show was first announced as being in development at ABC Family in 2010. 2010! How have they not found a writer already? How many writers have they cycled through in that time? Ordering a show straight to series without finding a writer is possibly the stupidest way to go about making a TV show.

Judy Greer's history of starring in live-action series:

Mindy Kaling's comments about the network being unable to find an Indian American actress to play "Mindy" are odd, because I've seen that WB pilot, and Mindy is played by Noureen DeWulf, who is absolutely Indian American.

The youngest is Honey Bear; her name was chosen in a contest in between the books The Birds, the Bees, and the Berenstain Bears & The Berenstain Bears and Baby Make Five.

I don't understand how this is news. This show comes out one week from now.

I've known about this for a few weeks because I see casting notices.

5 of FOX's 6 drama pilots involve police officers: Frankenstein's monster as cop, Minority Report cops, remake of Luther, a pathologist helping cops, Lucifer helping cops. The other one has Eric McCormack as a drug dealer, and while I haven't read the script yet, I imagine at some point he might be dealing with cops.

It's from the writers of October Road, Happy Town, and the US Life on Mars. What could possibly go wrong?
