Bernie 2016 served a very valuable purpose.  But I don’t know why I’d vote for him rather than E Warren or S Brown.

In the least surprising development thus far in 2019, Claire McCaskill is now part of Morning Joe. Her new tack re Cortez, apparently, is to patronize the shit out of her. Nobody asked McCaskill WTF she ever “accomplished” that would put her in a position to advise Cortez.

John Jay is an upgrade for the White Sox.  He’s a competent 4th OF.  The White Sox OFs are all sub-replacement level.

Maybe this means he will pass the torch to Elizabeth Warren. That would be a good thing in my opinion. I’d hate for the two to split the lefty vote and create an opening for the Neera Tanden candidate.
