No, unfortunately it’s the flourish that Democrats use with their off-hand while their main hand picks the working class’ pocket.  The GOP’s flourish is regular old racism.

I think what they’re really talking about is Democrats’ tendency to weaponize race and gender in lieu of any coherent vision or economic message. If so, I agree that the Ds have to be very careful about that.
