Oh no worries don't feel bad. Since you can swap a ton of parts between car most people think its only natural to grab a GD wing for a GC8. Especially since they are so cheap. True GC8 STi wings go for $300-$500 where as a GD STi wing can be had for less than $200 or more (I've seen them for $50 before!)

no no noooo... the 04-07 STi wing is way too big for these cars. Some people try it but it makes the car look goofy with how tall and wide it is. The opinion is generally shared though the GC8 community. A lot of new comers usually try that route since getting Authentic JDM V5/6, EU RB5, or 22B wings are hard to find…

22b is the ONLY reason I have a RS, It is my inspiration for my build (as many others)Its just so goddamn good looking. Saving up for the widebody and a full respray in the future along with the full USDM STi Swap. It won't be a true 22b but it will be a pretty good homage to one.
