@neilsavagedesign: In what way? Thats a box full of garabge, its not a computer.

@IrishFeangol: You have it completely backwards. Apple is a much a hardware maker as they are software. The moment they allow cheap shit hardware to run their operating system, their profits disappear.

Why do so many iPad apps still suck so much?

To be fair, there were zero products anywhere that looked like the iPhone before it debuted. Since the iPhone, every frigging new product is a mimicry of it. It's just a fact. The iPhone changed everything, and everyone in the tech industry. No one can even conceive of new products without thinking of the iPhone.

@slapgun87: There's a red white and blue American response if I've ever read one.

@sudo rm -rf /: 4th Amendment. There's a lot in there, from overall purpose to specific points. Overall purpose? Right to privacy. Complete privacy. If you are to be searched, surveilled, tracked, traced, the appropriate enforcement authority must secure a warrant that describes the exact person or property to be

@Papagiorgio: As someone who researches and follows the modern day behavior of agencies such as the FBI, it's well known that they follow someone else's agenda in terms of tracking and tracing innocent Americans. If you read the horrendous laws that they use as excuse, like the "Patriot Act", its full of absurd hate

@hostile-17: Very true, nothing to disagree with here.

@sudo rm -rf /: I definitely disagree with the presumed authority circuit court rulings, yes. When they are out-of-line with Constitutional rights, there can be no other legitimate stance. It's just a fact, and has little to do with opinion.

@hostile-17: I'll give you the full story:

@zeusrex: Statistically its committed by agents of intelligence operations. That's what terrorists are, it makes no difference what country you're in.

@Felic_the_Cat: Actually, the situation you described accomplishes exactly what the advertiser is hoping for....absolutely any form of recognition or identification. Regardless of how much you may purposely try to hate a brand based on a loud commercial, all of that thought is a success for the advertiser.

@crikerat: So Apple doesn't want you to actually buy Books from their iBookstore? Find that hard to believe.

@swampthing: I don't know about that at all, there are useless iPhone Apps, sure, but it hardly matters when about 1/4 of them are excellent, and that 1/4 adds up to nearly 50,000 Apps, maybe 300 of which I've been able to try myself.

@KaosTheoryx: There's absolutely no way that you or anyone sees a noticeable difference between mobile safari history caching, and not. It's simply not an issue.

@llPANCHOll: Don't talk, unless you know what you're talking about. Cydia has nothing to do with how Rock app behaves, and will not prevent Rock from working. Who TF do you think you are?

So, in other words, they are going to start from scratch and build a terrible OS that no one will ever want, a horrible Facebook integration on Facebook's OWN phone now, and just add more pathetic clusterf*** to the social fag phone mix.

@HandsomeHorse: Truth be told, the good iPad apps are very few and far between. I've been blown away by the amount of totally useless apps made for the iPad.

Meh. Interesting video above. Giz thinks pretty highly of itself. How're those multiple criminal investigations going?
