It’s not vigilante justice if you’re defending yourself or your property.  Committing theft is what’s not justified.

This stupid criminal is lucky to have even survived.  When you cross that line of breaking the law you put yourself beyond protection of the law.  You may want your victims to dial 911, but best of luck if you bet on it.

You must call 911 and wait for the authorities or community action team to arrive and take care of the situation.”

A Torchgate would be very cool. But yes this is the vehicle that will bring EVs to the masses. Not a 100k super hummer, a 70k lifestyle vehicle with odd looking oval eyes or a PS1 render that glitched into real life. A regular ass F-150 that happens to be an EV. Hopefully it starts at a price people can afford,

Hey! Now that’s a low blow! As an Arky expat, I will agree that heading east of Little Rock is about as shitty drive as it gets, but Little Rock is pretty good (you just wouldn’t know it as everything by the interstates is crap).

From a map, it looks like they are LUCKY there’s another bridge 2 miles away. The next closest bridge over the Mississippi from a very brief eyeballing looks like on the order of 100 miles away.

I’m not surpsied. I-40 is indeed very heavily traveled and yes, it’s mostly truckers. The last time I drive that route I promised myself to never again use I-40 from Memphis all the way through Arkansas.

Subaru says the moniker is inspired by the Latin words for “sun” and “earth,”

Solterra sounds like the word for “bachelor” in Portuguese. I think it’s even more similar in Spanish. The name is stupid enough in English, but the fact that it reminds me of something else makes it even worse.

“Elon I can’t believe that was your doge joke!! I hope’s not doge!?!? It should have been I hope it’s doge, I lost my money man, I trusted in you I believed you would help this community make some money but instead you crushed it.”

I also hate to admit that I do covet a Bentayga.

Counterpoint: This is the best SUV for doing what SUVs are actually used for, which is tailgating people on your way to the mall. Since this is a 1-of-1 BMW with a V12 in it it also satisfies the “I’m way wealthier than you” criteria.

My head went straight to Boxster after seeing the criteria here. It’s the most joyous automatic convertible you’re going to find, full stop, and $25k is a healthy amount to get one in good shape. Its depreciation shouldn’t be nearly as bad as the Merc or BMW.

Hmm in my area the challenge is to be the only car in the Sainsbury’s car park that doesn’t come from the Volkswagen group. Succeeded this time.

Yeah - this is the the one dark part of the undertaking. Much like Cannonball runs in the US, he may need to wait until the statute of limitations is up prior to admitting having parked in them.

As an Ohioan who moved to Middle Tennessee a few years ago, I can attest that Zaxby’s is GOAT-tier fast food chicken.

Look, Tesla gets plenty of (deserved) criticism for fit and finish issues, PR issues, deceivingly-named driving aids, etc.

I wonder if they’d be shocked to learn that normal car companies sometimes turn a profit through their financing arms/partnerships instead of simply selling cars. And wait until they discover licensing IP.

Every low paying, customer facing employer is complaining about not having enough people right now.
