My heart sank when I read this story. I think I was sadder than watching some story about a kid with cancer on the nightly news.

I just sold my 5 year old MazdaSpeed 3. That car was perfect, ran flawlessly and left a grin on my face after every use. I miss it already and it only been 2 months. *sniff*

A friend had an se-r spec-v (in banana yellow no less) with the factory brembos. The front calipers seized about a month apart. The a screw on the throttle body fell out and got sucked into the engine, which promptly destroyed it. He had had the car for 3 months.

That was a painful story to read. The SE-R Altimas were very cool! But good call on the MS3. I’ve had mine for about 75k miles and four years(bought used with 17k) and have done nothing but normal maintenance. LOVE this car.
