It’s true, Americans don’t buy sport wagons, but if Mazda was nutty enough to bring the 6-wagon, the dealer incentives to move it off the lot would certainly drop the price below the CX5. I know, prime example why it’s not imported in the first place.

I bought two Volvo V90 longroofs this year. I’m doing my part, though not for BMW; but that’s OK, not a fan. Folks, the V60 appears to be an awesome new sportwagon, and I can tell you, my V90CC and V90RD are great cars. OK, they’re not manuals, but come on, a daily driver with a clutch in this crazy mid-Atlantic tra

..or the better performing, nicer looking and more reliable Volvo V60 Cross Country. Those equipped with the 2.5L 5 cylinder turbo make good sounds also.

Finally Volvo is giving the US market more interior options. I’ve grown tired of my Volvo’s w/ “Off Black” interiors. A Denim Blue V60 with this interior would be awesome! If only you could option your V60 with a V6.. ;)

I don’t remember them as ever being “affordable”? I hear this comment often, but I think it’s a fallacy by those who don’t understand adjusting for inflation. Volvo’s (but for the stripped ones) were always near Benz money here in the US. They were certainly more expensive than the US domestic competitors. As a kid I

It’s a decent movie for the period. He actually dodges commercial jets (which were big and intimidating, and a lot louder back then) but feel free to embellish to work your point. But who friggin cares, Steve McQueen was still a badass throughout (standing still), then there’s The Chase. Real men get it ❄️. 😉

I agree on the crap start (or BS mash-up)! 189 hp and the front didn’t come off the ground at all? I could never keep an old CBR900RR front on the ground during a hot launch, half leaning my fat arse over the bars. That new CBR is easily a sub 10 sec in the quarter, the NSX could only dream to be. Turn off the TC

AWD (long roof) with winter tires is what you need. Just stop all the nonsense about FWD or RWD is as good as AWD with a good set of snow tires. Total bull crap. Put the winter tires on the AWD and destroy the rest. Folks, remember, AWD isn’t just for snow... when I stomp on my AWD turbo Volvo V60 with over 350

There’s no way in hell the Type R doesn’t break traction out of a turn at anything near WOT. I guarantee you it spins the fronts all day in the rain, not to mention sleet and snow, and with winter tires. Then there’s the lame torque steer. OK, now add the RS’s addition turbo supplied torque to the equation... Yes,

‘15 V60 T6 3.0 R-Design AWD w/Conti WinterContact Si’s. Fun times in the snow!

And they’re still low class rice like the Civic Type R.

I’m by no means a male feminist, but if there’s any sport where men and women can co-compete, its auto racing, especially in F1. Have a look at those little scrawny boys they bring-up now. They just need numbers; more rich parents putting their daughters through the lower ranks of single seat racing. Then there will

The nose is too long; function over design I suppose. Profile reminds of a P80 Shooting Star, for you Foxtrot guys.

The numeric stands for power range since 2014; engine configuration irrelevant. For instance: 200-300hp = T5, 300-400hp = T6, 400-500hp is a.....T8? Umm, never mind. Swede logic. I like the fact that the T6 on the hatch of both my Volvo’s, stands for the best dang engine Volvo ever produced (hint: it’s quite sweet).

Almost as goofy as Super Handling All Wheel Drive. Some things sound better in the native tongue. Chances are, super fast works a lot better in Italian. In English it’s a Disney Car character.

Is your current S60 an R-Design or Polestar? You may not have the sport seats which are the topic here.

It’s an R-Design not “R”. You may use “RD”. You sure you own one? 😉

Right on Brother! We currently have the ‘15 V60 R-Design and ‘15.5 XC60, both with the excellent all leather sport seats. Recently had a ‘15 S60 RD with the leather and faux suede (Nubtex). The all leather R-Design seats are the best. Period! I have some back issues, but in these, I can go a tank full without any

If they bring over the V6 turbo variant, I’ll trade-in my V60 RD. I am no fan of the Volvo all 3 and 4 cylinder (unrefined little growlers) philosophy, especially for the sportier or larger wagons. The GM V6's sound very sporting these days!

Sorry mang, i’ve got two recent Volvo I6 turbo’s in the garage; I don’t think this new T6 will make me forget the best damn Volvo lump ever produced (by Ford)! I’ve driven many T5 Drive-e loaners in the last three years, and they are not well refined, even for a 4 pot turbo. Adding a supercharger doesn’t improve
