Oberst also had exactly one accuser and that doesn't appear to be the case here.

In this case separating art from the artist is pretty much impossible, because this band has wrapped itself up in the flag of tolerance and safe spaces. It's literally the equivalent of a right-wing Congressman getting caught getting busy in a bathroom.
One of their scheduled opening acts said in a statement that they'd heard about these allegations last summer.
English desperately needs a gender-neutral 3rd-person pronoun. Even if there was literally no such thing as transgender people, it would need one. That said, I hate "they" as a solution particularly in situations like this. Even in my comment below I'm using "Ben" or "this person" and plan to continue to do so.
They didn't, really. There's a part of their statement where it talks about how the definition of "consent" has been compromised, as though they were saying, "Well, yeah, this person did this stuff, but Ben *thought* it was okay at the time so it kinda was." And the stuff about the "independent mediator" with a PWR…
I, too, have never heard of this band before about 2 days ago. That said, one of their scheduled opening acts, T-Recstasy, posted a series of Tweets admitting that they'd heard about these accusations this past summer, and apologizing for putting their careers ahead of fans' safety, before announcing they were…
Also, the "collateral debts from the *idea* of an avalanche" stuff, which is the funniest "doesn't need riffs" scene of the season until we get to Starcrash.
"A fire in the aquarium? Well, that'll sort itself out."
I'm just into the first break of 1103…I liked the first two, but this entire first act *really* feels like CC/Sci-Fi MST3K. I was concerned that the condensed schedule meant that what we saw was what we got, but now I'm cautiously optimistic that the pacing and timing *is* getting better with experience.

Murphy declined to have a permanent role, but he appears along with Brain Guy and Pearl at least once.
Or "the Rocky."
Ooh, the '95 Spearmints are out! I gotta get to a store!
I've only seen Jonah at RiffTrax live…he was clearly nervous, but I will say that a.) MST3K isn't live, and b.) he's already the most adept host at doing voices and impressions, which gives him something distinctive, at least.
And yes, Joel deliberately wants the movies to be under wraps. He explained that watching the original show, in a mostly pre-Internet era, one of its appeals was sitting down and wondering, "What kind of movie are they going to find *this* time?"
There's a leaked list out there that may or may not be factual, but most people seem to believe.
There is no way out of here. It'll be dark soon. There is no way out of here. It'll be dark soon…
Just a comment on the original documentary, which had 10 minutes devoted to the 1962 Mets and 30 seconds to (non-Cub, I know) Stan Musial. And the narrative of the 1960 World Series, which was basically that it made New Yorkers sad.
So, what, this will be 45 minutes of New Yorkers lamenting the lost opportunities they had and 5 minutes covering the Cubs season?
