No it is a slur. As someone who is Romani, it is a slur. Also there is difference between someone from Romania and Romani. It is slur when others use it, but it a word we like to use. Not outsiders.

People have been saying this for last 100 +days. Even the Democrats are not being as organised as they should be.

But we cant ignore the huge amount that voted for Trump. The majority of white people picked Trump in every age group, including white women. That says a lot about America. So when you say most American voters, you mean minorities. That is what always gets ignored when we talk about who actually voted for Clinton.

The US has not been loved and respected round the World for a long time. It is worse now, but the US has never been about soft power and doing something without any benefit. And we focus on bomb dropping and wars because if we don’t people inside the US do not care.
