oh whoops! you're right!
but yeah!
whoops, so my text got deleted XP
anyways, it's a Brazilian only Mk1 golf, that was made from '84 to '09.
it was called the "Citi Golf" and it's amazing!
amongst it's many features was a 122 horse 1.8 engine that let the car rip to 60 in 8.5 seconds and top out at 122 mph!
truly, a cool little hatch.
Seattle Monorail system.
It's not bad at all! it's actually an awesome idea! only problem is, it was never built! also, the part that was built is about 4 miles long. so, it's not there, AND it's useless!
luckily the new monorail urban transit lines are being constructed, but they're about 50 years overdue :P.
I'd take these 6 sexy, practical Germans over just about anything!
My grandpa owned 4 ladas at one point...
He had a "Fully loaded" samara in Burgundy, a Green Niva (my uncle STILL drives it, after he bought it for 250 euros from my grandpa) then he had a white estate and a purple sedan. Don't know what model though.
Hey, the Yugo wasn't an import flop! it actually sold pretty well for the first few years, until people realized how bad it is! And they came from Yugoslavia, the land of the Yugo!
agreed, I see on average 8 WRX's and 3 STi's on my 4 mile commute...
I would miss dodge if it went...
Lexus LS (particularly, a second gen one, just because it's cooler)
Wouldn't a GTi Wagon just be the best car ever?!
My dad had (actually, still has in "storage" a 1988 1.3 "Jubilee" Kadett. I LOVED that car... 1000+ KM trips to Greece in that thing when it was 15-20 years old were amazing! I grew up in it, and it was actually the first car I ever drove as well! last time I checked, it had 297,000 Km's on it. Sadly, it hasn't been…
My stepdad did get himself a sports car for fathers day! traded in an old Nissan Xterra for a white 4 Door GTI!
This is perfectly okay. Why? well if you really want to know, drive down to your local safeway/wallgreens and count the number of Jeeps (Grand Cherokee, and wranglers) in the lot. Then, drive to the rich part of town, and count all the totally clean Range rovers and G-class mercs. Now, if that's okay with you, then…
I'd say any late 80's, early 90's Japanese coupe or hatch would make a good restomod! imagine an 89 prelude, but with a new Si engine under the hood!
yours seems more accurate, and thanks for correcting me :)!
It sounds like "Daw-pell-cup-lungs-get-try-be" when said quickly with an American accent on the German. hope that helps!
